Consumer Advocate Membership Agreement

I  understand that I am a consumer advocate member.

I agree to support the efforts of A Call for Action which is a membership organization that helps to resolve issues relating to consumer issues of all types. I understand that I am not an employee of A Call for Action nor am I considered to be a member of a lobbying group or a policitcal action group. I understand that Complaint Action Group and A Call for Action does not support all consumer issues. Some issues are beyond the scope of the organization. I understand that as a member, I have the right to voice my opinion on issues the organization supports. I agree that A Call for Action Group does not support individual opinions but works to resolve consumer complaints of all types. I further understand that as a member of the orgaization, I am obligated to conform to the ethics guidelines and to get involved in consumer issues of my choosing. I agree to abide by the following ethic guidelines and membership requirements:

  Making a financial pledge of $10.00 or more a month
• 
  
  Getting involved through the signing of Petitions of my choosing
• 
  
  Make suggestions and submit feedback to our website and blog
• 
  
  Becomming a voice in my community by obatining Petition signatures with action packets which I will distribute at my own cost (applys only to Petitions of my choosing)
• 
  
  Becomming involved by any other method that does not provoke violence or public demonstrations
• 
  
  I agree to never partake in public demonstrations or rallys. 
• 
  
  I will NOT use the name of Complaint Action Group or A Call for Action by promoting its causes through violent means or public demonstrations or rallys.

I understand that I can opt out of the signing of Petitions.

I understand that I can cancel my membership at any time.

I am NOT entitled to a refund on membership pledges already submitted.

I understand that if I cancel my membership, I cannot seek signatures on Petitions supported by the organization.

I agree that as a member of the organization, I am not entitled to any benefits, monetary compensation, or promotions. I further understand that I cannot hold Complaint Action Group or A Call for Action Group liable for any personal financial loss.

I also agree that Complaint Action Group and A Call for Action Group does not conform to any organizational structure.

We work at the grass roots level to lobby for consumer rights and take action on issues that violate or infringe on consumer rights regarding fraud, misleading advertising, public awareness and public safety. We may lobby congress but the majority of our issues are resolved through the signing of Petitions and soliciting media outlets with our issues. We take action through our signed Petitions and work in conjunction with the BBB, the State Attorney General Office and other state and local entities to get results.

A Call for Action Group is a coalition of consumer advocates. It is a membership organization consisting of a paying members whose soul purpose is to protect consumers from fraud, scams, misleading advertising, and also promotes public awareness and public safety issues.

I agree that there are NO time frames by which the Call for Action Group organization uses to resolve consumer issues. I will receive all the necessary forms and instructions upon submitting my membership payment. I understand that I am responsible for the cost of distributing action packets and soliciting others to become members of the coalition.
